Following Scott’s Lawn Care Program

Scott’s, a leader in lawn care maintenance, has developed an easy to follow program called Scott’s lawn care program.  It is a four step process that helps to develop a thick, green lawn that will fight weeds, diseases, and insects.  Scott’s lawn care program is specially designed to be started at any time.  Scott’s lawn care program shows you that the only way to have a healthy lawn is through regular lawn feedings, and they tell you exactly where and when to provide this to your lawn.

Customizing your program is very simple and can be done through their website.  They ask you to put in your zip code, and type of grass.  If you are unsure of what grass you have, they thankfully put up pictures and types of the most popular grass, to give you an idea of what you have.  You can also enter where you are most like to shop for the bags for the program so that they can specify if they are available and what they have.

Scott’s Lawn Care Program in Four Easy Steps

Take the guesswork out of lawn care by having Scott’s Lawn Care Program email you periodically to let you know what step needs to be completed and by when.  Step one is an all in one application that provides selective control of sprouting weeds with a feeding that helps with producing a thick green lawn.  It is a crab grass killer with fertilizer that should be applied between February and April before the temperature hits 80 degrees.

Step two is a week control plus fertilizer.  Scott’s application provides up to two months of rich greens as it rids your lawn of dandelions and other weeds that may eat up your grass.  It also strengthens your grass from the roots up.  Scott’s lawn care program moves on to step three a couple of months later where it provides you with a program to control insect control and fertilizes your lawn.  It also provides even greening without rapid growth of your lawn.  It helps to control chinch bugs and other common insects that may damage your lawn.  If used as directed it will not burn your lawn, so please read the directions.

The final step of Scott’s lawn care program is step four.  Step four is a fertilizer which is specially formulated for fall, for a strong fall, winter, and spring lawn.  These seasons are the best time to formulate a healthy lawn and develop stronger root systems for a more vigorous lawn come the first signs of spring.  It has a high analysis of essential nutrients to help control the browning and dying of your grass during the harsh winter months.

Whenever you start your Scott’s lawn care program, you know that you are getting a quality product with great results.  It is relatively affordable compared to what you get, which is a wonderful, thick, green lawn that will make all your friends and neighbors jealous.
